Do you want to try Combined Events? Sussex Schools and Surrey Schools are hosting an open event to give U13, U15 and U17 athletes an opportunity to try out multi-events on Wednesday 1st June, at K2 Stadium, Crawley, RH11 9BQ.

This is an opportunity to compete in a pentathlon for years 8 – 11, consisting of hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800m ) or a quad event for years 6 and 7 pupils (hurdles, shot put, long jump and 800m). Each athlete has to complete all the events, gaining points for each performance. Whoever has the most points at the end of the competition is the winner.

How many points will you end the day on?

This competition will also help select athletes to represent Sussex Schools in the Regional Combined Events competition at the end of June.

There is an entry fee of £10* per athlete. For entry information and payment details, please click here.

Athletes can wear club or school vests on the day. Athletes from all counties are welcome, but entry will be closed at midday on Sunday 22nd May – no entries on the day.

*If this is unaffordable, please speak with your school, club or county to see if they can support your entry.
