Representing England Athletics under-18s, Dulcie Yelling clinched the gold medal at the Växjö International in Sweden on Saturday, securing the top spot by almost two metres. She threw an impressive 42.92 meters in the unique indoor stadium.

Meanwhile, closer to home, Brighton & Hove AC athlete Tomer Tarragano secured a fantastic silver at the British Universities (BUCS) Cross Country Championships in Leeds.
Brighton Phoenix's Almi Nerurkar, who had just returned from a training block in South Africa, ran a strong race in fine conditions to secure the bronze medal.
