It is the turn of the Upper Age Group athletes in this weekend’s Youth Development League on Sunday.
Crawley, who compete in Premier 2, visit Harrow while both Brighton & Hove and the combined Team Sussex team compete in SW 1 and are in action at Southampton.
Horsham Blue Star compete in NE 1 at Ashford and Chichester are off to Ashford to contests SW 2.
Continuing throughout the weekend starting on Saturday and finishing on Monday, the British Universities Championships (BUCS) are being held at Bedford where there is expected to be many Sussex athletes battling for titles.
Last year Sussex athletes won two silver and two bronze medals with Crawley’s James Lasis (Discus) and Brighton & Hove’s Bethany Close (Hurdles) collecting silver and Louisa James (Hammer) from Hastings and Samuel Heawood (Worthing) (Shot) picking up bronzes.
