Mandy's favourite colour was lilac, and it was her wish for you to wear this colour somewhere on the day.

Mandy was the kindest, most supportive, generous athletics official I’ve ever met - helping me settle into my new county athletics home and sharing her knowledge with all of us. Her support of local athletes was vital to county and club athletics alike. Now in peace.

Mandy was a truly lovely person. She was very warm, friendly and fun to be with. She was an extremely experienced official and generously shared her knowledge and wisdom with others. She relished being Sussex AA President and despite her deteriorating health supported the county as much as she could this year, including at the Under 13 & Quadkids Championships. Condolences to Mandy's family, many friends and clubmates at Worthing Harriers. RIP Mandy, we'll miss you. Melanie Anning
