Helena Tobin (Brighton & Hove) smashed her personal best in the Eastleigh 10km Road Race on Sunday when she was an impressive winner of the event.
Clocking 34:34 Tobin slashed a full minute off her previous best as she finished more than fifty metres clear of Kent A.C’s Amy Clement who recorded 34:34.
There were also personal bests for the first three Sussex runners to finish in the men’s event with Howard Bristow having one of his best ever runs to finish fourth in 30:56 while club mate Max Dumbrell finished 12th in 31:45 and Daryl Hards (Worthing) 13th in 31:53.
