Sussex Athletics and all of our affiliated clubs are desperately short of qualified officials. We have organised a course at Haywards Heath because of the level of interest expressed by many individuals.
The course commences with a generic introductory presentation, moves onto a health and safety section and finally breaks up into the four separate disciplines of: track judge, field judge, starter/marksman and timekeeping.
An individual can attend only one of these disciplines on one day, although others can be done on a separate occasion. The timings will be approximately 09:30 to approximately 16:00.
The courses have to be booked on line through the England Athletics website CLICK HERE. Most clubs will reimburse the costs so check with your club secretary first.
