Competing for the South East Region in the British Athletics age group Road Championships, Crawley AC under 17, Yasmin Kashdan ran a strong race to finish an excellent 10th in 8.28 in a highly competitive field.
In the lower age groups, Brighton and Hove AC had two youngsters representing the region. Under 13, Saul Bennett clocked 9.16 for 33rd place and in the equivalent Girls' event, Julieana Walsh ran 9.48 to finish 42nd.
