Congratulations to John Linfield, who won the Services to Athletics Award for the England Athletics South East Region, at this week's Award Presentation evening held at Slinfold Golf Club.
John, who is a member of Horsham Blue Stars, pioneered Sportshall athletics in Sussex when he started the first league event 37 years ago.
Now in his early 80's, he is still organising the Horsham and the Worthing Leagues.
