A group of Sussex School athletes complete the 2017 Sussex track season when they travel to Boston for the English Schools Combined events championships.
All seven of the athletes qualified from the Area Championships, back in June, when the junior boy’s team had well beaten the Hampshire squad to win the Junior (U15) boys team title.
Adam Lindo (Downlands) had won the individual title from Spike Gleave (Eastbourne) while Seb Wallace (Forest) and Tom Ridley (Worthing) made up the team.
Ruby Jerges (Brighton Coll) competes in the junior girl’s event while Matt Smith (BHASVIC) and April Hanslow (Crawley) compete in the senior (U19) groups.
