Conditions for the Sussex Schools Cross-country championships, which will be held at Waterhall Valley, Brighton, tomorrow (Tuesday) 14th January are expected to be wet and windy as well as muddy. This however is not that unusual for this championship though it maybe a little breezier this year.
This will be the first step for selection for the Sussex School’s team for the English Schools Championships in March and the first four finishers in each of the six races will get automatic selection.
Four more runners will be selected on form throughout the season so far and the South East School’s Inter-county match at Chelmsford on 1st February.
Starting at 12.15 with the junior (Under 15) Girl’s race the Junior Boy’s race will start at 12.45, the Intermediate (U17) Girl’s at 1.15 and the Boys events at 1.45 while both the Senior girl’s and boy’s events start at 2.15.
