The first of this season’s Sussex Cross-country League gets the real Cross-country season underway at Goodwood on Saturday.
More than five hundred runners contested the eight races last year and a similar number is expected on the Downs at Goodwood on Saturday.
An under 11 age group has been introduced this year and they will start to racing at 12.00 while the senior and veteran men complete the afternoon at 2.30.
On Sunday the inaugural Brighton & Hove 10mile road race is being held starting and finishing at Hove Lawns.
