Congratulations to Seren Rowe who came second at the ESAA Combined Events National Final at the weekend.
The Brighton and Hove AC athlete scored 2923 for the podium place in the junior girls' pentathlon held over two days at Chelmsford, Essex.
She had solid performances in the shot put, high jump, long jump and 800m and equalled her 12.32 PB in the 75mH.
In the same age group was Alex Koloutsos (Brighton & Hove) 11th overall with an amazing PB in the high jump of 1.65. This height currently places her 5th in the country.
Athletes are selected to compete in the event having qualified through previous events across the summer.
As well as Seren and Alex, Sussex had two other athletes competing. Reuben Shewan (Chichester) was 8th in the junior boys and Dylan Parr (Brighton and Hove) 13th in the senior boys.
