The postponed Sussex Cross Country Relays at Goodwood will be held on Saturday with record entries.
Pre-entries have exceeded 200 teams for the first time while another record is the number of Sussex clubs who have entered teams - 18 so far.
The two week delay in the start of the Cross-country season should mean that many of the athletes will be chaffing at their bits and we could be looking for the best Championship start to the season, albeit a couple of weeks late.
The championships start with the Under 13 relays at 12.00 but prior to the championships event the racing start with an under 11 race at 11.45.
There is ample parking adjacent to the course and would athletes and spectators please use the main car park rather than park on the road.
