Officials Course At K2

Level 1 Officials Courses are being held at the K2, Crawley, on 31^st March 2019. It will cover the following modules:

The Health & Safety Module could be cancelled if the new online course is announced in the interim and not enough people choose to do the attendance-based course.  You must complete the course before you can gain your level 1 certification and therefore it is recommended to do it on the same day, or shortly before if you are doing it online.

To sign up, go to  https://www.englandathletics.org/officiating/qualifications/officials-courses/ Download the course application form, which is found in the box on the right-hand side of the screen.  There is no online booking for these courses as yet. Print the form, complete it as required and send off to England Athletics before 15^th March, with your payment (or ask your club if they will pay for you attending the course). England Athletics may be able to accommodate late applications but to be sure of your place, you are strongly recommended to book before the closing date.  After that date, a course could be cancelled if there are not enough applicants.

You do not have to attend a training course before starting to officiate at a competition. In fact, prior experience may make the training easier to understand and you will remember more of what you have been taught.
