Amber Anning of Brighton and Hove Athletic Club ran 49.63s in her London Diamond League debut over 400m, the fifth fastest time ever clocked by a British woman, to finish fourth.

Toby Harries of Brighton Phoenix - Athletics and Triathlon Club placed seventh in the national men's 400m with a time of 46.02.
Lana Sutton from Brighton finished third in the 100m Ambulant Women event, clocking 13.10.
Alice Howie of Worthing and District Harriers won gold at SIAB in the hammer throw with a distance of 55.98m, marking her second consecutive win. Braimoh Busari from Crawley Athletic Club faced a rare defeat in the pole vault, finishing almost 70 cm below his ESAA winning vault.

Ava James of Lewes AC placed seventh in the 2000m steeplechase at the European Athletics U18 Champs, with a time of 6:44.37. In the same race, Rae Le Fay of Hastings Athletic Club finished 14th. despite battling injury and a chest infection.
On Friday, 26th July, James broke her Sussex U17 Women's 1500m S/C record, running a time of 4:52.39 to break the Championship Best at the England Athletics Age group championships in Birmingham. Ava moves to third on the UK all-time list in her age group.
