Parking will be difficult for next Saturday’s Sussex Cross Country League event at Lancing Manor.
Worthing’s Maureen Stephens, who has spent considerable time negotiating the best arrangement possible with Impulse Leisure and Adur Council this year - especially as they have booked a Craft Fair in the Sportshall on the same day as the XC on 12th. November.
However their main concern is the parking issue at the Leisure Centre - this is
The toilet facilities WILL be available if shoes are removed before entering the building.
Refreshments will also be available from the Leisure Centre this year, at their request. Access will be via the function room entrance which will be obvious to everyone on the day.
Due to a Craft Fair booked in the Sportshall on the same day.
NO PARKING IS PERMITTED FOR VISITING CLUBS / ATHLETES / OFFICIALS AND SPECTATORS at the Leisure Centre.
Parking will be available at North Lancing School, Browning Road (off Mill Rd.)
BN15 0PT (approx. 400m away)
Parking also available in surrounding residential side roads only with consideration to private driveways.
It is absolutely crucial that all clubs inform their teams of these requests to retain the venue and the good relationship built over many years with Adur Council and Impulse Leisure for this event.
It is therefore necessary to request that whilst ' dropping off' is not a problem parking for officials and marshals will not be permitted at the Leisure Centre this year.
Please Park ar North Lancing School Car Park (off Mill Road) - which will be sign posted and the surrounding residential area.
