No 4th XC League Fixture

16 January, 2019 By Sussex AA

After a number of attempts by many clubs and officials, we have sadly been unable to find a suitable venue for a 4th Sussex Cross Country League fixture on March 2nd.

Phil Baker, Chair of the Sussex AA Cross Country Panel, said: "Our latest initiative for using the facilities at Ardingly College has come to naught in spite of the best efforts of officials from Lewes and Haywards Heath. Other venues have been explored over the last few months but I am afraid the joint needs of suitable courses and enough car parking to accommodate the large number of competitors who attend league fixtures have proved impossible to resolve."

As a result ALL 3 FIXTURES, including what will be the final date on February 9th at Bexhill, will count for BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM AWARDS. We will try to be able to present at least some of the medals at Bexhill and any which are not able to be presented on 9th February will be presented at the Road Relays at Christs Hospital on 6th April.
