Rob Mullett from Lewes made little fuss of qualifying for the final of the 3000 metre steeple championship at the European Championships in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
Striding through his heat the Lewes runner clocked 8:32.06s the fourth fastest qualifying time.
The final is Friday evening at 8.25pmour time.
After an impressive 2016 to date, Jade Lally from Broadbridge Heath continued her strong form as she threw 58.76m in the women’s discus with her first throw to gain the automatic qualifying distance. The British champion will now focus on Friday’s final.
