English Schools silver medallist, Brighton Phoenix athlete, Miles Waterworth, hopes to make waves on the international stage next week representing Team England at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Commonwealth Youth Games 2023 is a multi sport event for athletes born from 2006 onwards, aged between 15 and 17. The Games, last held in the Bahamas in 2017, provides a platform for young talent from across the Commonwealth to shine.
With a personal best time of 1:50.01 over 800m, Miles is one of the leading contenders and will have his sights set on a podium finish. His journey starts with the heats on August 9th.
