There were 24 finalists with 9 still in at 1.75. Brown cleared 1.78 at her second attempt to take the gold medal on countback and this is her first Conference title.
This effort lifts the Chichester athlete to fourth place on the Sussex All Time list.

Brighton Half-marathon.
Paul Martelletti (Run Fast) notched up his fourth success victory in the Brighton Half-marathon in windy conditions on Sunday.
Martelletti broke his own course record a he scampered well clear to win in 64:54 some three minutes clear of Chichester’s Flying Doctor Chris Zablocki, who had actually competed in the National Cross-country championship at Donnington the day before.
Zablocki, one of the top American marathon runners, clocked 68:23 getting the better of a fine duel with Brighton & Hove’s Kevin Rojas who recorded 68:36.
The race was surprisingly devoid of leading non Sussex runners and apart from the winner the top half dozen were all Sussex athletes.
Paul Navesey (Crawley) filled fourth place in 69:13 while Joe Corbett (Chichester) clocked 69:21 and Daryl Hards (Brighton Phoenix) 69:28.
Leigh Latimore (Harrow) was the first woman to finish recording 75:53.
