Indoor Championships Update

19 February, 2018 By Sussex AA

On further scrutiny of the results from weekend Indoor Championships, another Championship Best has been identified. It came in the last event of the weekend, the Under 17 men's Triple Jump, where Brighton's Louis Goffin exceeded the old record (12.26) in each of his four valid jumps. The first of these was his best at 12.75 - just 1 cm below his pb. That makes 10 new names from the two days of competition to be added to the list of CBP's.

One name which does not get deleted by these weekend performances, indeed it appears four times on the under 15 and under 17 womens CBP list, is that of Amber Anning (Brighton & Hove), who had a tremendous run in the British Indoor Championships on Sunday taking 3rd place in the 200 metres in her first year in the Under 20 age group.
