The funeral of Worthing and Sussex Athletics stalwart, Hilary Holland, will take place on Wednesday 4th December at St Andrews Church, West Tarring, BN13 1HQ, at 12 noon.
Refreshments afterwards at the church followed by an internment at Durrington cemetery. She is being buried in the same grave as her brother John.
Family flowers only, but donations can be made to Cancer Research UK or the British Heart Foundation.
Hilary was involved with the organisation of athletics for fifty years mainly through the Worthing and District Harriers in many positions including Secretary and President.
She was also a long term County official as a recorder at Track and Field and Cross-county events as well as at the Medals table at the Track and Field championships until recent years.
Hilary was President of the County Association from 2000-2002 and was a Life member of the Association.
