Following his fine run in the European Trials Cross-country race at Liverpool on Saturday Brighton & Hove’s Will Gray has bee selected to represent Great Britain in the European Championships in Bulgaria later this month.
Twenty one year old Gray, who is currently at Birmingham University, was runner up in the Sussex Senior cross-country championship back in January and was the fastest senior steeplechaser in Sussex, had finished sixth in last weekend’s races has been nominated in the U23 team.
The championships are being held at Samokov in Bulgaria on December 14th.
