Gemma Tutton's personal best and county record from 2022 was 4.10m. Since March this year's she's vaulted higher in five competitions and improved her best by a massive 27 centimetres culminating in a 4.37m clearance in Georgia on Friday evening.
Gemma, 19, competed for Duke University in her ACC Collegiate Championships in the USA. She topped the podium and, en route, cleared 4.17m, 4.27m and 4.37m before attempting 4.50m.
