The British and UK Women’s league come to a climax this weekend with relegation worries for the Crawley Women’s team in Division One.
The Crawley Women are currently in seventh place on the league table but are only one point below Harrow and Cardiff.
They have to travel to Manchester for Sunday’s fixture and need to beat at least one of these teams to avoid the drop.
Both the Crawley team, in Division two, and Brighton & Hove team, in Division four, compete on Saturday and are currently lying fourth in their respective tables and should survive but neither teams are at full strength.
Crawley travel to Nottingham for their match and will be without all-rounder Richard Reeks and thrower James Lasis but they do have James’ big brother, Matt, back in the team after injury to compensate while Brighton & Hove are off to Doncaster.
Horsham Open.
A little closer home, at Broadbridge Heath, the Horsham Blue Star Harriers are promoting their Annual meeting on Sunday.
