Amber Anning clocked the fastest ever 400m women's fifth place at the World Athletics Championships in Arigato, Japan, yesterday.
The talented Sussex and Brighton and Hove AC athlete ran 49.36 in what was a historic race, where the winner ran the second fastest time of all time.
Clocking 47.78 Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone not only took gold but also broke the 42 year record championship record.
Amber now holds the three fastest 400m times by a British woman.
We now look forward to watching her in the 4 x400m relay over the coming days.
