Sussex athletes Sebastian Rodger and Charlie Da’Vall Grice have both been included in the in the United Kingdom team for the European Games in Berlin next month.
Rodger, from Eastbourne, takes the third place in the 400m hurdles while Grice (Brighton Phoenix) also takes the third spot in the 1500m.
At their best both could find themselves of the final.
Sussex domiciled Jade Lally from Broadbridge Heath leads the British Women’s discus line up.
THIS WEEKEND
With a bit of luck conditions will be a little cooler for the Sussex Under 13 team that will be competing in the “Dennis Crookes” Inter-county match at Kingsmeadow while we can expect several Sussex athletes to be in action at “Sports City” on Saturday and Sunday in the English Championships, which incorporates the E.C.U Inter-county championships.
