Indeed the only major event taking place is some two hundred miles away at Sheffield he the England U15/U17 and U20 indoor championships are being held on both Saturday and Sunday.
Sussex 10K Championships - Sunday 7th June
Looking a little further forward the Worthing 10km Road Race on Sunday 7th June has had a bit of a face lift and will be hosting the Sussex championships/the race features a new one lap, potentially super-fast course, with a total prize fund of £3,200.
Co Race Director Gavin Stephens says:
"We would love to see a sub 30min/34min clocking on Worthing roads this summer and have dangled the carrot of a £1000 bonus incentive in both the male and female categories. With the new one lap course and hopefully good conditions on the day, there's the talent in the region to make it happen!"
