Congratulations to Caroline Wood who was part of the winning England W55 team at the British and Irish Masters International at Aintree on Saturday.
It was the 5th time the Arena 80 athlete had been selected to compete and wear a England Masters XC vest. She finished 7th overall in her age category on the day in a time of 24:43.
With the iconic backdrop of the Grand National racecourse, Wood, ran 3 x 2k laps.
She said: "The going was surprisingly firm on a flattish but tussocky course".
England went on to win the ladies and men's match.
