Lee Emanuel had an excellent race in the 3,000 metres in the European Indoor Championships in Prague yesterday.
Always looking comfortable Emanuel took second place in his heat in 7:52.39s just a couple of metres behind title favourite Richard Ringer from Germany.
Emanuel will be racing in the final at 6.45 this evening.
On Saturday morning Charlie Grice cruised into the final of the 1,500m.
In a leisurely and purely tactical race Grice always appeared in control and crossed the finishing line comfortably clear of his nearest rival of 3:48.98s.
In a much more competitive heat fellow British runner and arch rival Chris O’Hare ran some seven second faster to win his heat in 3:41.83s.
The final will be on Sunday at 3.30.
