Cross-country Relays

3 October, 2017 By Sussex AA

Provisional results from the Cross-country relays are now posted but fastest laps times are only available for the U15 and U13 age groups. The rest of the results may not be available until mid-week after Clubs have checked their names.

The senior team results have already been changed as Brighton & Hove had a “Non Sussex” runner in their team so Lewes step up to be champions ahead of Chichester and Brighton Phoenix.

The M40 title was won by Haywards Heath, M50 by Brighton & Hove and M60 by Crawley.

Apart from winning the senior women’s race the Arena 80 club also won the W35, W45 and W55 races.

Luke Ellard (Worthing) clocked the fastest lap time in the U15 boys race with 9:00s ahead of Crawley’s Calum Stone and Chichester’s Liam Dunne who both clocked 9:13.

In the girls U15 race Bethany Cook (Bodyworks) was fastest with 10:01s, Maya Ramnarine (Hastings) recording 10:25s and Lois Dooley (Brighton & Hove) 10:26s.

In the U13 boys race Henry Yelling (Brighton & Hove) clocked 9:50s to Nicholas Holland-Ellidge’s (Crawley) 9:53s and Joe McClarnon (Chichester) 10:10s while in the girls race Daisy Burton (Bodyworks) clocked 10:44s Holly Brazier (Worthing) 10:55s and Eadie Yelling (Brighton & Hove) 10:58s.
