For the third time this season Lizzie Korczak (Brighton & Hove) has broken the Sussex U17 javelin record.
Competing for Brighton College in the English Schools Cup, where the College finished an excellent fourth in the Intermediate age group, Korczak, who is the reigning English Schools Junior champion, topped the forty six metre mark for the first time adding 4cm to the current record with a fine throw of 46.03m.
Results from Saturday’s British Athletics League matches at Bedford are still not available other than the Crawley men finished an excellent third in Division two.
On Sunday the Crawley women went one better by placing second at their home match.
