An Important note regarding the Final Round of the Sussex Cross Country League

20 January, 2016 By Sussex AA

Please note that there are some changes from the “normal” league timetable :-

  1. There will be no “open” Under 11 run prior to the main League races. Most of the youngsters who normally enter this race will be selected for their area teams. If not, we should be able to accept you on the day, under the watchful eye of the schools organiser, Judy Lasis.
  2. This will be replaced by separate girls and boys Primary School championship races. These will be contested over a flat and fast 2000 metre course starting at 11.45 and 12.00 respectively.
  3. Prior to the two senior races there will be a brief halt in the racing to allow a short period for presentation of awards for the younger age groups.
  4. Consequently, the final two races, senior women followed by senior men, will start a little later than usual at 14.20 and 14.50 respectively.
  5. Finally, if anyone would like to volunteer to act in some official capacity at the event please contact me via EMAIL.
