Brighton and Hove Athletic Club has honoured the late Reg Hook by renaming its clubhouse in his memory, recognising a man whose influence shaped both the club and athletics across the county and beyond.
The official dedication will take place later, but Reg’s name is already proudly displayed at the club’s base at Withdean Stadium, Brighton, where he gave so much of his time, energy and care.
Sussex AA and B&H AC President, Melanie Anning, said, “Reg is missed by so many of us. He was part of the fabric of our club, and neither Brighton nor the county would be where we are today without his guidance. Reg’s passion, wisdom, generosity and legacy continue to inspire us all.”
