The Brighton & Hove 10k road race on Sunday dominates this weekend’s racing with many of the top Sussex runners doing battle over this flat fast course.

Last year the race had to be cancelled, on the advice of the police, because of storm conditions and exceptionally high winds that were blowing the cones into the road.

Race organiser Keith Donno is hoping for better conditions this coming Sunday.

The race will start at 9.30 and this year the course will avoid the promenade and both the outward journey, from the Madeira Drive to King Alfred and back, and return journey will be run on the road way.
